What will I be charged?
PurseXchange is absolutely FREE. There are no Xchange fees, listing fees, or other charges for trading your purses and bags.

How does purseXchange work?
Please see our "User's Guide." The user's guide is a valuable source of information on the site. Here we tell you how to do everything. Following our user's guide is suggested, but not required.

Should I post more than one purse in my inventory?
While you have to post at least one purse you want to Xchange, the more purses you have in your inventory, the more offers you are likely to receive. Posting doesn't commit you to anything.

Can I make more than one offer at a time?
You can make multiple offers involving the same purse. In fact, we encourage you to make as many offers as make sense to you as possible Xchanges. The more offers you make, the more likely you will successfully Xchange. An offer doesn't cost you anything and doesn't commit you to anything.
You can make multiple purse offers for a particular user’s purse. If you find a bag you really want, you can make as many offers on that purse as you have in your inventory.

What can I do if my offer is declined?
You can re-offer a different purse from your inventory. Or you can seek the item you want from a different user.

If my offer is Accepted, can I still change my mind?
A Xchange consists of an offer, the acceptance of the offer, and a confirmation of the Xchange by the user who first made the offer. You are not committed to an Xchange that you initiated until you have confirmed the Xchange. Until both parties in the Xchange confirm, either party can change their mind.

Can I change my mind after I have Accepted an offer?
When you accept an offer you have committed yourself to the Xchange, pending only the confirmation of the Xchange by your trading partner. Your item remains exclusively available for the Xchange for the greater of 24 hours or until the Xchange has been confirmed.

Why did my Acceptance turn into Pending?
If, instead of confirming the Xchange, your potential Xchange partner accepts another offer, your acceptance will convert to an pending offer for your original trade. This is to allow for the possibility that the other Xchange will not be confirmed. In this case both users automatically continue as parties to an active Xchange, your pending offer can be accepted, and you can then confirm your original Xchange.

How long is the bidding process?
Once a purse has received an offer, the bidding process begins. The process lasts for 7 days (one week from the start date and time). If the purse only gets one offer, the user can decline or accept the offer. At this time the Xchange is over. An Xchange can end at any time during the 7 day period. We encourage you to wait the entire time. The more popular your purse gets, the better the offers. At the end of the 7 days, the user has 24 hours to accept a purse or decline all.

How long do I have to ship my purse to the user?
PurseXchange.com suggests you ship your purse within 7 days from the confirmation date. After confirmation, it is your responsibility to be in contact with your Xchange partner to arrange shipping. We suggest that each Xchange partner take care of their own shipping.

What can I do if the purse for which I Xchanged is not what I expected or is not delivered on a timely basis?
You can and should contact your Xchange partner directly. At the same time, you should communicate your problem to purseXchange.com so that we can determine whether your Xchange partner has violated our Terms of Use and should be sanctioned. Finally, you should detail any negative Xchange experience in your rating of the User.

How and when can I communicate with my Xchange partner?
Through messages you can ask questions at any time about an item that is available or unavailable for Xchange. You can also send a message by viewing the user’s profile. It’s easy to view your message from your account. All communication with other users can be found here.

Should I visit the purseXchange site even if no immediate action is required?
Absolutely. First and foremost, inventories of users will be constantly changing and new trading opportunities will become available. As importantly, you must update the availability of each purse that you have to Xchange.

Yes. A description of prohibited items can be found in our
Terms of Use, both explicitly and by general description. Please use your common sense.
